José Pajares, Deputy Director of International Relations at the UIA

During the Steering Committee of the International Union of Lawyers (UIA) held in Rome (Italy) on October 24, 2023 and by electronic vote on December 11, 2023, the appointments and renewals of the mandates of the Deputy of the UIA Steering Committee.

Mr. José Pajares, Managing Partner in Zaragoza of CREMADES & CALVO-SOTELO ABOGADOS, was appointed Deputy Director in International Relations.

The main objective of the Deputy Director is to provide support to his Director by performing functions delegated by his Director, following up on delegated tasks and offering advice, attending meetings of the Steering Committee and meetings of the President's Council.

“The Steering Committee is the executive body of the UIA. Ensures the application of the resolutions adopted by the General Assembly and the Presidency Council, in addition to the proper functioning of the association. The General Assembly elects the Management Committee.”
