CREMADES & CALVO-SOTELO, through its Managing Partner in Zaragoza Mr. José Pajares, will be present at the celebration of the next UIA Congress in Rome

From October 25 to 29, 2023, the 67th Congress of the International Union of Lawyers (UIA) will take place in Rome (Italy) at the Parco dei Principi Grand Hotel & Spa.

This Congress will offer a broad program in which the main topics are “Free movement, migration and human rights” and “Food, environment and energy challenges”, and which will also include different work sessions combined with social activities in which lawyers will attend. of all the world.

Our Managing Partner from Zaragoza, Mr. José Pajares Echeverría, will participate in one of those sessions, the Insolvency Law session, where the “tax benefits and implications for economic agents in bankruptcy and restructuring procedures” will be discussed; “the conditions for the exoneration of bankruptcy debts vs. the estate” and “the new forms or mechanisms of restructuring and judicial participation.”
