CREMADES & CALVO-SOTELO, through its Managing Partner in Zaragoza, Mr. José Pajares, was present at the celebration of the III CIMA Congress in Madrid

On the occasion of its 35th anniversary, the Civil and Commercial Court of Arbitration (CIMA) held its III CIMA Congress in Madrid on October 16 and 17, coordinated by Mr. Francisco Ruiz Risueño and Jose Carlos Fernández Rozas, under the title “Arbitration in a State of Law”.

The event consisted of different discussion panels occupied by various professionals and practitioners of arbitration.

The Director of the Restructuring and Insolvency Law Department of Cremades & Calvo-Sotelo Abogados and arbitrator at CIMA, Mr. José Pajares Echeverría, has participated in panel 5: “Myths, realities and challenges of arbitration: the future of arbitration in Spain” moderated by Mr. Sixto Sánchez Lorenzo, Professor of Private International Law, in which the following also participated as speakers: Ms. María José Menéndez Arias, Founding Partner of Ménedez Arias Arbitration. Arbitrator at CIMA; Mr. Alfonso Gómez-Acebo Muntañola, Partner at Cuatrecasas, international litigation and arbitration area; Ms. Ana Fernández Pérez, Professor of Private International Law.
