Appointment of José Pajares by the UIA

Mr. José Pajares, Managing Partner in Zaragoza of CREMADES & CALVO-SOTELO ABOGADOS, has been appointed again by the International Union of Lawyers (UIA) as the UIA Representative in Working Group V (Insolvency Regime) of the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL).

Previously, between 2008 and 2012, he held the position of President of the Insolvency Commission of the UIA.

As Chairman of the Insolvency Commission and subsequently as a representative of the International Union of Lawyers, he has actively participated in the UNITED NATIONS COMMISSION ON INTERNATIONAL TRADE LAW (UNCITRAL), WORKING GROUP V, INSOLVENCY REGIME Vienna between 17 and 21 November 2008 and in New York between 18 and 22 May 2009, 19 and 23 April 2010, 21 and 25 April 2014, 26 and 29 May 2015, 2 to 6 May 2016, 10 and 19 May 2017, 4 and 7 May 2021, 18 and 21 April 2022, 17 and 20 April 2023. 2023 and between May 13 and 17, 2024.
