It brings together academics and professionals specialized in insolvency and corporate restructuring from 8 countries (Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, Chile, France, Italy, Spain and Portugal) that addressed central topics such as: DIP financing of transnational insolvency, Restructuring, Mergers and Acquisitions in Difficulties , etc. Among them, our Managing Partner, Mr. José Pajares, who will intervene on November 9 and 10 as a representative of Spain.
It is carried out in Portuguese, Spanish, French and Italian with simultaneous translation into these four languages. It lasts 8 weeks, 1 week per country. The purpose is to analyze and compare the bankruptcy regime of each country from the point of view of the World Bank criteria, identifying the deficiencies in the existing business crisis regimes in each one. The final document drawn up by the representatives of the eight countries will be sent to the World Bank.
