CCSA will participate in the next UNCITRAL meeting

Mr. José Pajares, Managing Partner in Zaragoza of CREMADES & CALVO-SOTELO ABOGADOS, will attend the 66th session of UNCITRAL as the Representative of the International Association of Lawyers (UIA) in Working Group V, Insolvency Law, of the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL).

This meeting will take place at the United Nations Headquarters in New York, from May 12 to 16, and will address legal issues such as the location and recovery of assets in civil insolvency proceedings and the law applicable to insolvency proceedings, among other matters.

“The UIA Insolvency Commission could be considered one of the working commissions with the greatest international involvement, given that the insolvency of a company based in one country affects its subsidiaries, suppliers, employees, creditors, etc. in other countries around the world.”
